Maybe someone else knows more on this.īut in general when I tested, LBA did have some minor issues with playing music. I am not an expert in sound so I cannot touch the issue about midi playing via Sound Blaster 16. Was this a debug build? Again please check on a PC, if available, and also with a release build. I am unsure about the game running slower thing.

If it was external physical storage (SD card) that could be a problem on Android 10 (it shouldn't because we use a compatibility flag that covered up to Android 10, but your setup is weird :) ). Save system not working might have to do with where the app was trying to save the games.

  • Can you check if the bugs in your list also happen on a Windows PC (if you have such available)?.
  • What controller are you using? Is it the Switch's? I don't have a Switch so I cannot test, but I wonder if it's a general issue (I can check with a DualSense controller).
  • Also the new controls (in 2.6.0git) that are more aimed at 3d engines, do work for controlling movement, but LBA needs more keyboard keys to control movement and interact, so again a keyboard (overlay or physical) is required. On-screen keyboard worked so I left it at that, but it could benefit from remapping or a custom overlay key arrangement (if we implement this at some point). The control on LBA is a bit of known issue. I tested in on a Nintendo Switch running Android 10, maybe not the most typical environment Would there be a way to have the midi with Sound Blaster 16 settings? Sounds way better When loading a save, everything appears normally.

  • I ran into a few minor bugs, probably issues with the engine, but I'm no programmer. With a keyboard plugged in, it ran the same as on PC, as in, everything running out of the box. While there was an option for remapping, my controller was completely ignored, but that's probably a problem with ScummVM itself It's definitely playable, but quite impractical. It is a consideration though, to allow an option for ScummVM to use the system set keyboard rather than our own - I just didn't have the time to further implement that (some work towards that was already done).The game definitely wants a keyboard, Android ScummVM has it's own. and then bring up the GMM menu in-game using that key combination (again with the ScummVM keyboard). I've just tested and could add the "Ctrl+F5" with our (ScummVM) keyboard. If that shortcut is not suitable you can change it (or add an additional one) from the ScummVM launcher "Options." -> Keymaps (Tab) -> and click on the shortcut for the "Global Main Menu" (it should already have "Menu" on there). (Note, by the way, that a short press of the Back button will produce a different result, and that one is by default used as the game's "Skip" button). The Android port, by default, uses the long press of the Android system Back button (aka "AC Back") to bring up the scummvm in-game menu ( officially known as Global Main Menu). By the way thank you for keeping the android version alive and updated. Hacker keyboard works with magic dosbox very well and I wondered if it can be used in the newest scummvm. I tried Blazing Dragons but the scummvm keyboard won't do Ctrl-F5 to get the save load screen.Even with the light on ctrl.
